Bronze Fat Lady Sculpture

This is the bronze fat lady sculpture. The yolanda sculpture is located in a public square in Ludwigshafen on the banks of the Bodensee River in Germany. It is an artwork designed by internationally renowned sculptor Antonio Tapes and completed in 1993.

The shape of this sculpture is unique, some resembling a person wearing a robe, while others resemble a blooming flower, giving an overall feeling of lightness and beauty. At the bottom of the sculpture is a pool surrounded by green plants and flowers, adding to the beauty and vitality of the artwork.

According to the artist himself, the design inspiration for this sculpture comes from the contemplation of life and death, and the name “Yolanda” also comes from the goddess representing death and rebirth in Greek mythology.
