This is the thinker bronze statue replica. The original Thinker, French Le Penseur, sculpture of a pensive nude male by French artist Auguste Rodin, one of his most well-known works. Many marble and bronze editions in several sizes were executed in Rodin’s lifetime and after, but the most famous version is the 6-foot (1.8-metre) bronze statue (commonly called a monumental) cast in 1904 that sits in the gardens of the Rodin Museum in Paris. The background of The Thinker Bronze Statue

The Thinker is a famous sculpture created by French sculptor Auguste Rodin, completed between 1881 and 1882. This sculpture depicts a naked man sitting on a stone, deeply lost in thought.

The Thinker was originally part of Rodin’s other sculpture, The Gates of Hell, representing the hellish scenes in Dante’s Divine Comedy. In this sculpture, the man is depicted as a character on Dante’s “Gate of Hell”, and he is regarded as the “Poet of Berchti” or rather Dante himself. Due to the complexity of “The Gate of Hell”, the sculpture “The Thinker” gradually established its independent position in art history and became one of Rodin’s most famous works.
