Communication Layer: The work needs to have strong visual appeal and photo-sharing attributes to adapt to social media communication.
Based on this, we collectively define the product as “a sculpture of modern art with a contemporary deconstructive aesthetic, emphasizing interactive gaze, and focusing on the core symbol of a pearl earring.”

Vimir’s work symbolizes high quality, tranquility, restrained beauty and a sense of mystery, which is highly suited to the intimacy, elegance and stylish experience pursued by high-end hotels. The sculpture instantly elevates the hotel space from a functional space to an art gallery-style experience space, defining its brand identity as an “advocate of the art lifestyle”.

In collaboration with the digital sculptor, the art director constructed the Girl with Pearl Earring Statue model from scratch in professional 3D software, not only to accurately restore the contours and proportions, but also to recreate the sensation of gaze and silence that penetrates the screen in the virtual space. Fine carving and prototyping stages
During the fine carving and prototyping phase, we use a large five-axis CNC machine tool to transform the digital model into a high-density polyurethane foam entity. The knives travel precisely in three-dimensional space, layering out the sculpture’s basic form and rich details. Then, the experienced sculptors take over the deep manual editing, using their artistic intuition and professional skill, they carefully carve every gentle contour twist on the foam surface, every hint of implicit facial expression, and even the glitter that crosses time and space in their eyes. After repeated polishing and surface closure treatment, a complete prototype that carries both digital precision, but also saturates the manual temperature and artistic soul is finally born, providing the perfect motherboard for the subsequent replication process.
Fiberglass Molding Process Stages
In the fiberglass molding process, we first use the finely finished prototype as the master mold. By applying silicone in layers and creating a sturdy outer mold, we obtain an accurate negative mold. Subsequently, a gel coat layer is sprayed into the mold to establish the surface texture, and resin-impregnated fiberglass cloth is laid layer by layer. Air bubbles are carefully removed manually to ensure that every detail is accurately reproduced. After the resin is fully cured, the mold is removed, resulting in a lightweight and sturdy fiberglass blank. Finally, through meticulous sanding of the mold lines, structural assembly, and surface treatment, a complete and detailed sculpture body is produced, perfectly prepared for the next stage of artistic painting.
